We had a great time with family and friends (both human and furry ones!) at my sister Camille and her boyfriend’s place for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. They have recently moved to their own home and this was the first family gathering to be held there. It was also the first time my sister has ever cooked a turkey! They put on an excellent party in deed.
My sis is a collector of all kinds of interesting vintage things and I had a lot of fun going around her house and taking photos of all her little displays. She has always been a collector. When we were little we shared a bedroom and her ritual before bedtime was to open the huge purse that had once been our grandmothers. Then she would take out the little treasures she had gathered, one by one, and arrange them on the bed. I always loved to see what she would pull out of that magical handbag!
