Dream Dollhouse – Part III : The Bathroom
Hi. Here is my third installment in the mini-series on how I would decorate my dream dollhouse. Today we look at what the bathroom might look like. In gathering pieces for this particular room I discovered that people who are in the dollhouse business have quite a sense of humour, as I came upon some pretty funny things for sure.
For new readers (welcome!), this series was inspired by my love of looking at miniature dioramas. Although I don’t want to actually have a dollhouse, I thought it would be fun to decorate one virtually, with pieces I have found for sale on ebay. So none of these pictures were actually taken by me, however I have cropped, brightened and cleaned them up using Photoshop.
So far I have decorated the the kitchen, and the bedrooms.
As far as dollhouse bathrooms go, it seems there is a wide choice of colours for your fixtures. Forget about plain old white and consider pink, green, orange or blue. My personal favourite is the jade green set in the picture at the top of the post.

And the bathroom accessories? Why the selection is almost endless.
First let’s look at some bathmats.
How about a plunger? This set comes with some extra handy things too.
And of course, you would need the necessities. Ok, fine French handmade soaps might not be necessities, but hey, in dollhouse land we live large.
And falling under the ‘I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes’ category.
