This cute little dog has been walked by our home for years now. I know her name is Pepita because I’ve had quick conversations with the lady with whom she lives, who used to regularly walk her.
She would always ask how our cat Eddie was doing. She told me she used to feed him when she saw him on the street, before we adopted him as a stray.
Recently Nick said he saw the lady struggling to walk using a frame-walker. It looked as though she might have had a stroke. She is well enough to go outside which is a good thing.
But she can no longer walk Pepita. Rather a gentleman seems to have taken over.
Clearly he loves her too.
